In 2005, the owners of Atlantic Street Veterinary Hospital and Pet Emergency Center made the decision to sell their general veterinary practice and focus solely on emergency medicine.

Dr. Jeff Schmidt took the opportunity to purchase the general practice, keeping three core values in mind. First, achieve excellent client SERVICE. Second, provide QUALITY veterinary medical care to our patients enlisting our well-educated and caring staff. Third, be COMPASSIONATE to our clients and their companions and their specific needs.
