Introducing Dr. Breanna Skolnik, a seasoned veterinarian with a passion for promoting pet health and well-being. With an impressive 13-year career in the veterinary field, Dr. Skolnik has dedicated the last 6 years to serving as a veterinarian and 5 years at Arbor View Veterinary Clinic.

Dr. Skolnik's educational journey began at California Polytechnic University, Pomona, where she completed her undergraduate studies. She then pursued her dream of becoming a veterinarian at UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, graduating with distinction in 2018.

Having a special interest in both orthopedic surgery and general practice medicine, Dr. Skolnik has become an invaluable resource to our team of doctors. Her commitment to professional development is evident through her additional training in TPLO surgery and CPR certification with Recover Initiative Advanced Life Support. She is also recognized as a Fear Free Professional, emphasizing her dedication to ensuring stress-free and positive experiences for her furry patients. 

Beyond her professional achievements, Dr. Skolnik leads a fulfilling personal life. Married to Shawn, they are very proud parents of a sweet little girl and are expecting a son this year! In addition to her human family members, Dr. Skolnik shares her home with two canine companions — Samantha, a Labrador Retriever, and Kal, a Shepherd mix.

Dr. Skolnik's interests outside of the clinic include hiking, paddle boarding, road biking, and reading. Her active and diverse hobbies reflect her zest for life and commitment to maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

What sets Dr. Skolnik apart is her genuine love for animals and her dedication to helping pets achieve optimal health. Her favorite aspect of the veterinary industry is working closely with families to ensure their beloved pets return to 100% health.
