Meet Candace our Hospital Manager. Candace has had a love for animals since childhood and always had a desire to meet their needs through Veterinary Medicine. Graduating from the University of California at Davis with a degree in Animal Science she has pursued goals in working with animals in multiple aspects of the industry. As a Veterinary Assistant she worked in emergency and day practice small animal clinics then ventured to large animal practice working in the ICU and Neonatal Unit at Alamo Pintado Equine Medical Center. Pairing experience in Veterinary Medicine and years of experience in Operations Management in the finance industry her skill set allowed for her current role as our Hospital Manager. In her free time you can find Candace at the barn working with her young horse Sophie training for work in Cowhorse disciplines or trying to drain the energy from her two German Shepherd’s Macs and Axle. Candace loves to meet our clients and their pets and is always available for a quick hello!
