Introducing Dr. Monica Plank, a seasoned and compassionate veterinarian with a wealth of experience in the veterinary industry. Dr. Plank has been an integral part of Arbor View Veterinary Clinic for the past 5 years, where her dedication to holistic and compassionate care has made a lasting impact.  

Dr. Plank's academic journey began at UC San Diego, where she graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Physiology and Neuroscience in 2015. Following her passion for veterinary medicine, she pursued her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2019. Throughout her academic pursuits, Dr. Plank worked in small animal veterinary clinics as a veterinary assistant and was also worked with non-profits committed to providing veterinary care to underserved communities. She was also involved in public health and wildlife conservation research internationally. Dr. Plank's diverse experiences have shaped her into a well-rounded and knowledgeable veterinarian.  

Having a special interest in feline medicine, dentistry, and cardiology, Dr. Plank brings a unique skill set to Arbor View Veterinary Clinic. Her certification as a Fear Free Professional emphasizes her commitment to ensuring a stress-free and positive experience for her patients.  

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Plank enjoys paddle boarding, crafting, and playing pickle ball. Her active and creative hobbies reflect her vibrant personality and dedication to a well-balanced lifestyle. Dr. Plank, along with her husband Charles, are proud parents to their son Calvin. The Plank family extends beyond humans, including five cats (Alba, Kudu, Mia, Mildew, and Sable), two fish, and a very affectionate Golden Retriever named Byrdie. On occasion, Byrdie holds a special role as the third Client Service Representative at Arbor View Veterinary Clinic.  

Dr. Plank's favorite part of the veterinary industry is providing holistic and compassionate care and building lasting relationships with her clients. Her genuine love for animals and commitment to their well-being make her an invaluable member of the Arbor View Veterinary Clinic team, where her expertise and warmth contribute to the clinic's reputation for exceptional veterinary care.
